This Edmond watercolorist is passionate about art,

and her enthusiasm can be felt in the artworks she produces,

which are vibrant abstracts that employ bold earth tones.

While she is comfortable painting in a number of different styles,

realistic and impressionistic, as examples,

it’s the abstract method that she finds most attractive. 

“In abstract paintings you look beyond the surface to see what’s really going on,”

Mills notes. “I do landscapes and still life compositions,

but I’m constantly trying to leave them behind.”  

Each of Mills’ works is framed and retail for $1,200.
