“I feel like a part of what I paint. When I show a painting to someone else a part of me is saying, ‘Look at what the Creator did! See it?’ ”
Brad creates oil paintings of uncommon beauty out of his intense love for the natural world. His brush strokes are bold and directional in nature. His style is impressionistic/fauve and emphasizes contrasts of light and shade as well as the use of bold, complementary color.
Currently the landscape is his primary focus. He has a particular love for the Southwestern United States. The light he captures in New Mexico has a luminescent quality all its own, and Price seeks to capture its effect on canvas.
Price has been a graphic designer, illustrator and painter for more than 30 years. He currently resides in Norman, Oklahoma.
